Fine injections of hyaluronic acid, known as dermal fillers, are used to fill in medium to deep wrinkles and lift the tissue. Hyaluronic acid treatments are particularly suitable for the lower half of the face to treat marionette lines – affectionately known as “Merkel lines” – nasolabial folds, and lip wrinkles. The results are immediately visible. The complexion appears rejuvenated, plumper, and fresher. Depending on the condition of the skin, the effect lasts for about one to two years.
