Botulinum toxin is a naturally occurring bacterial protein. When injected under the skin, it blocks signal transmission between nerve and muscle cells. The result: the muscles relax and the forehead smoothes out. The face appears balanced, relaxed and rejuvenated. A noticeable effect is visible just four to five days after treatment. The effect lasts between four and six months.
